Julie Moore “Visions” Reception 9/10/2022 4pm PDT At LightBox Photographic Gallery In Astoria

Astoria’s LightBox Photographic is celebrating alternative photographic processes in September. Portland Photographers’ Forum member, Julie Moore, will exhibit Enhanced Lumen as well as Poly-Photogravure prints in the upper gallery. The series is named, “Visions.”

The theme attempts to communicate to others the wonderful beauty that can be found in our surroundings. Tenderness, softness, exquisite aging, and loss are present in these images. The artist notes that alternative processes tend to merge one’s sense of past and present, which seems to best fit with the intent. The opening reception will be held September 10th, 4 - 7 pm (calendar).
