Sitka Center Resident Artists Include Two Photographers

The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology <sitkacenter.org> on the Oregon coast will host 31 artists and natural scientists from September to May in the 2020~2021 season. This provides residents with time and space to reflect, explore and create. Photographers selected for this session include:

  • Brittney Cathey-Adams , currently working in Portland, Oregon. Her images explore body politics, fat positivity, and the effects of self-portraiture.

  • Jeremy Dennis, a tribal member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation in Southampton, NY. His fine art photography studies issues of indigenous identity and assimilation.
