In Spring, A Photographers’ Fancy Lightly Turns To Thoughts Of Birds

Cornell University’s Bird Academy has a variety of materials to teach about birds— identification, feeding, migration, and also photography. Internationally known and awarded, Melissa Groo, has instructional materials on many different platforms, but the Bird Academy has a few short previews you can view for free to inspire you to go out to the edge of the forest and listen for tweets. She is also written a book on the ethics of bird photography.

There are several excellent bird photographers who are members of the Portland Photographers’ Forum. Perhaps we can entice a few of them to assemble a workshop for PPF members?
