Loren Nelson, Portland Photographers’ Forum Member, Has Work In “The Sustainable Feast” Competition & Touring Exhibition

Oregon State University has a 40 year history of mounting an art competition featuring works that educate people on the many facets of agriculture. Our own Loren Nelson entered his lovely “Bent Pepper” black and white print, and secured a place in the 2022 event.

The Sustainable Feast may be viewed at the Pacific Maritime Heritage Center in Newport, OR, from August 5-September 30. A supporting exhibition can be seen August 6-August 28 at the Newport Visual Arts Center.

Afterwards, the exhibition will tour the state to enable better access. Some of the works will find their way into a permanent collection, which mounts other displays around the State.
