Glean 2021 Call for Artists In Multnomah, Washington, And Clackamas Counties

Five artists residing in one of the three above-named counties will receive a 5 or six month residency at the Metro Central transfer station so that they can glean materials for a minimum of eight works of art to be available for sale at exhibition. Each artist will receive a $2,000 stipend at the end of a successful residency and will receive an 80% commission from the sale of their art. One piece will be retained for the Recology permanent collection. Metro will retain one piece from each artist for public display for two years. One residency is reserved for a student currently enrolled in an art program at a local college or university.

Application deadline is 10:59PM PST on March 31. All the details can be found at the CaFÉ website.
