Get To Know: Robert Moran

Robert Moran lives in Maine but his images have been seen in galleries across the USA, and internationally. The Cleveland Clinic, the Magenta Foundation, and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art have collected his fine art photographs. His style varies with the project. The Noir series has moody black and white composites that suggest there may be a story in there somewhere. In contrast, Relics places commonplace objects from the recent past on a shelf, which are then shot head-on, to create portraits of what once was common.

He is currently working on a solo exhibition of the Relics series, scheduled to open in 2014 at the Davis Orton Gallery in Hudson New York.
