Get To Know: Google Arts And Culture

I’m always trying to get new viewers here at the Portland Photographers’ Forum website, so I may be shooting myself in my foot by telling you this: the search engine, Google, has an Arts and Culture area that is deep, wide, and beautiful in many ways. Take, for example, the Contemporary Voices in Asian American Photography page.

This section presents six artists who make dramatically different images. Some are personal narratives, others are informed by transnational experiences, and others experiment with non-traditional methods. As you scroll down the page, text blocks pop up and the images enlarge to better show and explain intentions and details.

Beware—time passes quickly here!
