Get To Know: Bob Greenspan

Bob Greenspan travels a lot for his architectural photography. But it opens up an opportunity to meander. In an article for the website Feature Shoot, he told writer Ellyn Kail that it was very easy for him to turn a four-hour drive into eight hours.

In those wanderings, he documents the American Back Road, using framing and lighting to evoke fond memories and mood. It’s more than just historic preservation. In some ways, it’s also a eulogy for beautiful old structures and a reminder that once there was a belief in the importance maintaining a love and respect for the past.
