Australian Photo Exhibition Features Work By Emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

Headed Down Under? The 12th Head On Photo Festival opened in Sydney, Australia, on 11/19/2021. The festival features more than 60 outdoor exhibitions plus virtual workshops to allow for more participation. At the Paddington Reservoir Gardens is the First Sight exhibition, the result of pairing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders artist with mentors

One of the highlights of the festival, which began on Friday, is the First Sight exhibition. Taking place at Paddington Reservoir Gardens, the 15-piece exhibition is the culmination of a five-month-long eponymous program between six Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander emerging artists and their three mentors.
