Get To Know: Kylli Sparre

Based in Tallinn, Estonia, Kylli Sparre’s website notes that she likes to “look beneath the surface” and “hear the unsaid words. She has a background in dance, which she mentions as an influence in her work. Some of her recent images have elements of confinement, which were not intentional but supposed to be a product of the conditions imposed by the pandemic.

She has exhibited throughout the world and earned a Sony World Photography Award in 2014.
