8 Days Of Releasing One Work Per Day In Atlanta

The Jackson Fine Art Gallery holds an annual Private Collections Salon and SALE . Beginning Saturday, July 30th, one image per day will be released via email and Instagram. The event runs for eight days. In-person and on-line viewing also begins Saturday.

Today's email featured Gordon Parks, Department Store, Mobile, Alabama, 1956. This was one of the series shot for Life Magazine that followed the daily activities of the Thornton family, rather than show yet again the brutality at the demonstrations and boycotts.
