Wendel White “Manifest” Series At Blue Sky This Month, Artist Talk On 2/10

Wendel White studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the University of Texas at Austin. He has taught photography in various locations, and is now a Distinguished Professor of Art at Stockton University. He has received numerous fellowships, and his work is represented in over a dozen museum and corporate collections.

His “Manifest” series will be the object of his talk at Blue Sky Gallery on February 10, 2021, at 5:00pm. Registration is required and free for the Zoom meeting. In this exhibition, his photographs of documents and objects from the past help us to better understand the daily lives of Black Americans who lived long ago. Manifest was featured in a Smithsonian Magazine photo spread in 2016.
