Sales Of Pre-Fire Opal Creek Prints Will Be Donated To Ancient Forest Center

On January 29, 2022, Michael O’Brien will install a series of prints in the Portland Photographers Forum Community Drawer at Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Proceeds from any sales will be donated to the Ancient Forest Center, which suffered great losses in the Beachie fire last year. On Monday, February 21, O’Brien will present an artists’ talk at the PPF general Zoom meeting. Michael is quick to point out, “The nice thing about the drawers is, you can actually handle the prints rather than studying them on a wall.”

Currently, the hours at Blue Sky are limited. On First Thursday, February 3, the gallery is open until 7 PM andO’Brien be there, masked up and vaccinated. Check the Blue Sky website for their current covid policies.
