Imogen Cunningham Retrospective At Seattle Art Museum Through 2/6/2022

Imogen Cunningham was born in Portland, Oregon, but her family relocated to Seattle. She was able to take a correspondence course in photography that cost $15, which included a 4x5 view camera plus a study guide. If you want more fascinating details, and a chance to view almost 200 prints, head to the Seattle Art Museum!

Actually, this web page which describes the show, is full of information and links to other information. It’s a good place to plan your visit, reserve audio and smartphone tours, and purchase tickets. This exhibition is organized by the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles. The National Endowment for the Arts is a major sponsor, and generous support was provided by Herman and Faye Sarkowsky Endowment and the
Mary and Dean Thornton Endowment Fund.
