Regional Arts & Culture Council Announces “Catalyst Grants”

A recent email from the Portland Regional Arts and Culture Council featured three artists who had received “catalyst grants.” RACC has a number of financial assistance projects, but the application process can be a challenge at times. To increase access, Catalyst Grants, were developed. The awards are intended for artists who have never received a RACC grant. The award amount is fixed at $3,000, and the application is easier and shorter. Last year $225,000 went out to artists who created or presented performances, exhibits, and other creative projects that the public can access.
