Get To Know: Barbara Peacock

Maine Photographer Barbara Peacock combines anthropology and intimacy in her series, “American Bedroom,” which was at Blue Sky Gallery a few years ago. She travels the USA, making images of people where they usually sleep. These semi-candid portraits, viewed as a whole, makes it easy to compare and contrast the variety of lifestyles and conditions currently existing in this country. Her passion is the “poetic resonance of ordinary subjects.” Some images may be NSFW.
