Look Up! Exhibition Opens 10/5/21 In Hillsboro

”OPENING RECEPTION TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5: 4 OF MY PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE INNER LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY EXHIBITION "LOOK UP". I HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

The Walters Cultural Arts Center (527 E. Main St., Hillsboro) is excited to announce a new photography exhibition, Look Up!, by members of the Inner Light Photographic Society. The artworks featured in this exhibit bring together fifteen photographers from Oregon and Washington who work in a wide range of photographic styles. Look Up! is in essence about seeing.

The diverse works will be on display October 5 to November 19, Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 9 pm and on Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The exhibition will open to the public on October 5 during Hillsboro Art Walk. A First Tuesday reception will be held at the Walters from 5 – 8 pm. Visitors are invited to stroll through the exhibit on two floors, meet the artists during a Q & A session at 6:15 pm, and enjoy live music in the lobby. Masks and distancing requirements will be in place.

The Look Up! exhibition includes artists Wendy Berreth, Cara Cottingham, Christine Eagon, Cheryle Easter, Al Flory, LG Freeland, Timothy Horn, Claudia J. Howell, Atsuko Kurogi, Janelle R. Lee, Alan Mevis, Lorraine Richey, James Skates, Scott Weston, and Toni Wise.
