Laura Kurtenback 25 Year Retrospective At Brown Bag Lunch Lecture 2/17, Noon

“Laura Kurtenbach is an American artist, photographer, and educator. Laura has worked in the photography industry professionally for over 20 years and has over a decade of teaching experience in a variety of settings including Newspace Center for Photography, Northwestern Illinois University, Wright City College of Chicago, and Columbia College Chicago. She is currently an adjunct professor of photography at the Academy of Art University and Portland State University.
Laura earned her BA in Photography/Fine Art from Columbia College, Chicago in 1999 and her MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco in 2007. She is based in Portland, OR and has an established exhibition record for her fine art, photographic work both locally and nationally…”
Her presentation will look back over two decades to see “…what we can learn from the past, which can help guide us into the future, if we continue to grow, create and connect with others. This event is a presentation of the Portland Art Museum Photography Council and is free to the public.
