Free Art Classes For The Homeless

What a great idea!

The Autograph Gallery, in London, offers free 10-week art classes for the homeless. The next one, “Use Writing & Photography To Tell A Story, runs every Monday, beginning with the third Monday, from 2~4:30pm.

The instructors are published authors and photographers. Lunch is provided, and travel costs are covered. To register, simply “tell your support worker”. For more information, send an email by clicking here.

The gallery describes itself as one that “champions photography that explores issues of race, identity, representation, human rights and social justice.” The website has plenty of images for inspiration, too. To follow the Accumulate art school, look for @Accumulate_Ldn/ on Twitter.
