Grand Canyon National Park is a place of tribal and global significance. The Grand Canyon Artist in Residence will contribute through art to the cultural and aesthetic legacy of Grand Canyon and its surrounding communities.

There are three residency periods in 2022. Each residency is a maximum of eight weeks and a minimum of four weeks. Residencies begin in February, May, and September. The base stipend is $1,500 for four weeks, with a stipend of $250 for additional weeks up to eight. Residents will have an apartment at historic Verkamp's Visitor Center.
