Five Oaks Museum Seeks Guest Curators

The Washington County Historical Society was founded in 1956, however in 2020 it changed its name and focus to become the “Five Oaks Museum.” In doing so, it recognizes the cultures and histories of the people living in the area, especially the Kalapuya Native Americans who regularly gathered at the Five Oaks to trade goods and ideas.

The Museum has two opportunities per year for Guest Curators to create exhibits. The application period is now open, and all the details can be found here. To promote opportunities for all, Guest Curators can be people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
