Entries for Paula Riff Award Due Soon

The deadline to apply for the Paula Riff Award is June 8, 2021. Designed to celebrate the work of Paula Riff, the Carmel Center of Photographic Art and Lenscratch developed this prize. Artists who challenge the assumptions of conventional photography, creating works that evidence the artist’s hand, are invited to apply. Images may use historical or alternative photographic processes, or demonstrate a physical intervention such as cutting, sewing, etc.

One artist will receive a one thousand dollar award and have their work featured on the Lenscratch and the Center for Photographic Arts websites. Paula’s birthday, July 29, is the day the winners will be announced. Find essential details for submitting here.
