Pat Welle Artist Talk Set For January 17, 2022

Portland Photographers’ Forum Member—and board Vice President, Pat Welle has just completed publishing two books on the Columbia River Estuary. The first, “There and Back Again, A Portrait of Salmon Restoration in the Columbia River Estuary.” In it, Pat uses photographs, maps and interviews to tell the story of the people and projects working to restore salmon habitat in this large estuary. The second, “A Photographic Journey through the Columbia River Estuary”, is a hardbound collection of photographs from years of traveling throughout the estuary and shows many beautiful (and often hidden) corners, as well as some of the flora and fauna found along the way. We will hear all the details at the January PPF General Membership Meeting.
