“Marc Koegel is a proud father of two, a photographer, educator, mentor, and writer. Since 2004, he leads private and small group photography workshops and tours worldwide. 

Marc chooses to work in black and white only. He enjoys photographing landscapes and architecture, often together. He actively tries to forget about technique(s) and instead focuses on creativity, composition, and personally meaningful photography. 

Marc's photographs have been widely exhibited and have won numerous international awards such as the IPA, PX3, Critical Mass, Spider Awards and Epson Pano Awards.

Born in Germany, Marc first came to Canada in 1996 to earn an Economics degree. Presently he splits his time between Vancouver (BC) and Hamburg (Germany).
